April 1 - Tuesday 8:00 pm Boy Groove Entertainment The Temptations. The Monkees. Menudo. New Kids on the Block. And now... BoyGroove!
Through all their ups and downs, highs and lows, successes and failures, Boy Bands are here to stay! And Canadian playwrights Chris Craddock and Aaron Macri have taken the classic story of the rise and fall of a squeaky clean boy band and fashioned a ferocious parody that both fans and foes will love!
In the vein of This is Spinal Tap and Fubar The Original Banger Classic, BoyGroove is a live mockumentary of the boy band phenomenon that chronicles the rise and fall of the world's most famous boy band; their friendships, their triumphs and their scandals. From the villainy of their homophobic rapper 'Hypetastic' to the crusading virtue of Andrew; from the reality shows populated by on-again-off-again Kevin and Chelsey, to Jon's dreams of space travel; BoyGroove is all witty dialogue, pop songs and power ballads, and a concert performance that will leave you wanting to call-in requests and dedications.
Winner of a 2005 Just For Laughs Comedy Award in Montreal, BoyGroove played to rave reviews and won 'Best of the Fest' at every Fringe Festival it played in North America in 2005.
Boy bands may come and go but the hilarious phenomenon that is Boygroove is going to be with us for a long, long time!

April 2 - Wednesday 8:00 pm The Bacon Brothers Michael Bacon – vocals, guitar, cello
Kevin Bacon – vocals, guitar, harmonica, percussion
“What you see is what you get.” – The Bacon Brothers
Yes that Kevin Bacon. Long before he became the ubiquitous star of so many well-known movies that he became the centre of the “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon” game, Kevin Bacon was making music with his brother Michael.
Although they only formed up as an official “working” band in 1995, Kevin and Michael Bacon have been writing songs and playing music together since about the same time they may have been fighting over Lincoln Logs or little green Army guys. In fact, the cover of their first album, Forosoco, shows as much; the picture, taken in 1972, shows Kevin and Michael onstage playing congas and guitar, respectively.
Since their first gig, intended as a one-off gig at a local club in their hometown of Philadelphia, was a surprise hit, Kevin and Michael decided to explore their potential as a live musical act.
Sold-out gigs in New York, LA, Nashville, Chicago and San Francisco followed, as well as a high-profile show opening for The Band at Carnegie Hall and appearing alongside the likes of Shania Twain and Wyclef Jean on the TNT Network's “The Gift of Song” special. In eight years of recording and touring, the band has become a top live draw and continues to build momentum.
The Bacon Brothers are backed by Paul Guzzone on bass/vocals, Marshal Rosenberg on percussion, Frank Vilardi on drums, and Ira Siegel on electric guitar.

April 13 - Sunday 8:00 pm The Campbell Brothers With Eric Bibb: “Spirit & The Blues” ERIC BIBB
This brilliant acoustic blues guitar player has been compared to such legendary greats as Ry Cooder, Keb Mo and Taj Mahal.
A performance by Eric Bibb is always an enriching experience – both musically and spiritually. Purveying a beautifully realised and deftly accomplished, soulful and gospel infused, folk- blues, Eric has no problem melding a traditional rootsy American style with a subtle contemporary sensibility. As one critic wrote “ Eric's singing and versatile guitar playing fuses a variety of genres to become a New World Blues”.
THE CAMPBELL BROTHERS:
The Campbell Brothers offer up an evening of African-American gospel music fused with the unique sound of electric “pedal steel” guitar and vocal. This emerging sound has a tradition of more than sixty years as an integral part of worship at the House of God Keith Dominion Church where it began.
Now, as the music moves from sanctuary to concert hall – including notable appearances at the Hollywood Bowl, the Kennedy Center, the Brooklyn Academy of Music and Symphony Space -- secular audiences are now able to appreciate a performance both devoted and rocking.
Pedal steel guitarist Chuck Campbell and his lap steel-playing brother Darick are two of the finest in this tradition. Rounding out the band, which has been playing together for nearly two decades, is a high-energy rhythm section featuring brother Phil Campbell on electric guitar and his son Carlton on drums. Katie Jackson's classic, gutsy gospel vocals bring the ensemble to a level of energy and expression that defies description.
The Campbell Brothers present a compelling, rich variety of material from the African-American Holiness-Pentecostal repertoire with a new twist: the growling, wailing, shouting, singing and swinging voice of the steel guitar, played as you have never heard it played before.
