Our Brampton Thunder and the Salvation Army would like your personal support for this televised game.
Hockey fans, members of Mayor Susan Fennell's Community Spirit Team and the general public have the opportunity of making a positive difference through their personal contributions to the Salvation Army's Christmas Campaign and by their individual attendance.
We can all show our city pride by coming out and cheering on the Thunder to victory against the visiting Aeros in this NWHL encounter.

December 31 - Saturday Fireworks at 9pm and Midnight. New Years Eve Celebrations Welcome in 2006 with a bang as the City of Brampton once again presents its annual New Year's Eve festivities, complete with skating, live entertainment and fireworks. Gage Park will offer something for the entire family to enjoy during the countdown to a brand new year. The park's beautiful outdoor skating rink will be open and there will also be free marshmallow roasting for the kids at fire pits located throughout the park. For those with young children who cannot stay up late to welcome in the New Year, the City will be offering two fireworks displays at 9 p.m. and midnight. While it may be cold outside, there will be plenty of ways to keep warm including Brampton Transit warming busses provided by the Brampton Downtown Business Association.
