The “Big Air” competition consists of one huge tabletop jump, a medium size tabletop jump, and a small jump. Each of these jumps can be used throughout the competition. You will be judged on getting huge air and stomping technical tricks off the three different hits.

Synopsis:
George and Doris are married to others, but a fateful chance meeting at a California country inn leads the seemingly miss-matched pair into a twenty-five-year long affair, in which they meet for only one weekend every year. Altered by the global events of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, the couple grows and changes as the years roll by, but they never lose the awe and wonder that they have found their true soul mates. The results of these meetings range from tender to hilarious.

Rose Theatre Academy Workshops - Playwriting
Participants will be involved in writing exercises, as well as discussing playwriting theory and practice.
Participants will also be required to produce at least one short scene or monologue, for performance by actors at a public event following the conclusion of the workshop.
Facilitators:
Dave Carley is an internationally produced playwright, author of (among others) The Edible Woman, Conservatives in Love and Midnight Madness. His play Writing with our Feet was a finalist for the Governor General's Award. He was co-author, with Glenda MacFarlane, of last summer's hit in the Rose Theatre Square: R+ J: Brampton.
Glenda MacFarlane has worked for a playwrights' agent and at Playwrights Union of Canada, and as the dramaturge for many collective plays. Glenda is the author of several radio plays, as well as the stage works Duel at Dawn (produced at Lorraine Kimsa Theatre For Young People) and R+ J: Brampton (with Dave Carley). She is currently the Series Editor for Scirocco Drama books.
The Rose Theatre Academy thrives on new endeavours that will provide opportunities to expand the community's imagination, creativity and social bond.
Facilitated by A.C.T. Productions, the Workshop Series, will provide an engaging and informative experience for all participants.

Tommy Douglas: Arrows of Desire was 18 years in creation and is a theatrical tribute to the memory of a man. This man was not only ahead of his own time, but antiquity will confirm that humanity has yet to evolve at least another century before realizing the humanitarian vision of Mr. Douglas. Tommy Douglas belongs to the ages. His undaunted dedication and self-sacrifice to the people of Canada is legendary.
Most Canadians under 50 seem to know little or nothing about Douglas. They take their medical card for granted, assuming that every human has one. But Douglas was much more than the Father of Medicare, and Tommy Douglas: Arrows of Desire brings the depth and breadth of the Douglas phenomenon to light and life.
Tommy Douglas: Arrows of Desire is presented in a one-person format, fitting well with the fact that Tommy Douglas was a great statesman, humourist and storyteller. It is the only definitive, full-length dramatic biography of the man, and its provocative and honest nature is true to the Douglas legacy. Czech Boys Choir
The Czech Boys Choir BONI PUERI was founded in 1982, since then it has become one of Europe's most notable musical bodies. It has 350 members and has given more than 2500 concerts all over Europe, America and Asia, made eight records of its own and taken part in 19 others (Supraphon, EMI, BMG, ArcoDiva etc.). The choirmasters are Pavel Horák and Jakub Martinec.
Boni Pueri performs with eminent artists (José Carreras), it makes recordings for TV and radio and performs with important ensembles and orchestras all over the world. It makes regular tours of the USA (Grace Cathedral San Francisco), Japan (Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Hall), South Korea (Seoul Arts Centre), Great Britain, the Netherlands (Concertgebouw Amsterdam, De Doelen Rotterdam), Denmark, France, and Italy (Basilica di S. Maria Maggiore Bergamo) etc.
The choir has appeared at many international music festivals (The Prague Spring Festival 1994, 1995, 1998, 2004 and 2005, Europalia - Brussels 1998, AmericaFest - Minneapolis 1998, 2002, Jeonju Sori Festival - South Korea 2002) and in July 2004 became the first ever European host to the World Festival of Singing for Men and Boys. Members of Boni Pueri appear also as soloists in other performances (W. A. Mozart: The Magic Flute - Teatro dell'Opera di Roma 2004).
A celebration of the human voice this is one show no-one should miss.
