June 2 - Saturday 10:00 to 2:00pm Kids Safety Day The Peel Children's Safety Village in conjunction with the Partners for Safety Education and Prevention will be hosting a “Kid's Safety Day.”
Summer is a great time for kids and they love to be active. Our partnership in cooperation with the national Safe Kids week campaign, wants parents to be able to prevent some of those serious injuries that can happen to kids during the summer months.
Children will have the opportunity to receive instruction on the “rules of the road”, have their bicycle helmets fitted properly by a Public Health Nurse, and have their bicycles checked by a Police Officer. Children will also have the opportunity to take to the “Safety Village” streets, to practice riding safely.
There will be additional displays from the Region of Peel Health Department, the City of Brampton Parks & Recreation, and CN Police.
The event is FREE – and anyone is welcome.
