Chekhov longs... In the Ravine
A companion piece to last season's Chekhov's Shorts, this play is set in rural Russia in 1900. The story follows the collapse of a moneyed merchant family that is unaware that their own social standing is at the expense of their poor neighbours. This story has great emotional depth and the jaw-dropping set pieces make the play visually appealing.
