May 4 - Sunday 9:30am David Bloom Memorial Spring Sprint In Brampton The David Bloom Memorial Spring Sprint in Brampton is coordinated annually by the Bloom Family and volunteer planning committee. On April 24, 2001, David passed away at the age of 19, after being diagnosed only eighteen months earlier with an inoperable cancerous brain tumor. The first event was held just 12 days after David's untimely and tragic death. Over the past 7 years, the event has raised $850,000 for the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. 2008 is a very special year!!! We need your help to raise $150,000 as we “Sprint to $1-million”.
Come out and walk, sprint, run or rollerblade and collect donations to help a great cause!

Auditions for young Brampton singers (ages 13-18) will take place on Friday, May 9, 2008 at Rose Theatre Brampton's Studio Theatre 2 from 6 to 9 PM on a first come, first serve basis.
